A LITTLE MODELLING...

Marcie was in the studio practising some modelling moves.

She does the straight to camera pose.

Then ne mes fesses grand en cela ?

She looks over to see that Laura as arrived and is watching her moves!
"Bonjour Laura!" says Marcie " You have come for to do the modelling oui? "

"Oh no" says Laura shyly " I am happy to watch you!"

" Non Non ! " says Marcie moving round Laura " You have zee wonderful face , oui? You must try "

Before Laura realised what happening she finds herself in between the flowers.
" Oh! I am not sure what to do? "

Marcie moves forward and positions Laura ready for her photo's.

" I will take the photo's" calls Marcie " That's tre chic Laura,!" she continues " Now this way here here!! " she points.

"Like this? " ask Laura beginning to enjoy herself
" Oui Oui! " laughs Marcie loving taking the photo's of such a helpful model.

"Now I come for zee close one !" calls Marcie " keep looking to zee floor , oui! Bonne "

" fantastique, vous êtes un look look naturel là-bas pour voir le garçon que vous êtes doux sur! oui oui!"
Marcie forgets to speak English so Laura can understand ! But luckily Laura knows a couple of words.

" Now we do close ! " calls Marcie " bien fait maintenant où est celui qui aime le sucre, nous allons prendre sa photo est également " seeing that Laura's confused Marcie remembers her English " Where is the one who like Sugar? she can photo play too!"

To be continued.....

I am afraid that not rain but sun stopped play today! I had taken the above photo's and was about to do more when I was called to assist in the garden.
My eldest daughter and her partner had arrived to help us , cement in and replace the storm damaged fencing.
We would have never been able to do it without their fantastic help, Lauren's partner carried each  post on his own , when it need three of us to move it! So with their help we managed to put up all six posts and five fence panels in four hours with a stop for lunch in the middle!

When I say we , I really mean the DH and them, I was supervisor, tea and lunch maker. I did the cleaning up after, cutting up the rose branches and other climbers that had had to be cut back out the way.

Here is a photo of the new fencing up, we had to move them over slightly due to the amount of concrete in the ground where old posts had been.

So finally we have been able to set the bench back in place now it's protected by the fencing. So next the fence needs a coat of protective stain in dark oak and then we can set the flower beds to rights.

Mind you we will still need to take the old fence panels to the tip!We did not want to get rid of them in case we needed them to infill anywhere.

and all the old posts! It's amazing how much rubbish a few posts and fence panels make! But that will be a job for next weekend.
Mind you there are another three panels wobbling on rotting posts, so they'll need sorting soon but at least these one's where the flowers are starting their spring growth are in and we no longer need to trample all over the beds below.

  2. A busy weekend then down at the Village! 'Sasha-ing' and gardening. Mind you it was the perfect time and weather for the latter.
We here shall be following suit with the storm damaged fence replacements in the next few weeks..... (need to sell a Sasha first!).... but luckily we already have the concrete posts and slabs so hopefully all that will be required is to slot in the new panels.

Great Sasha post involving the visiting competition winner, Laura. How wonderful that she is learning a new skill whilst enjoying her stay there as well.
Particularly love the photo where Marcie goes over to show her how to do her first pose. Absolutely delightful as is the resulting photograph.
    Looking forward to part two.

Smiled at the take on the comment 'Rain stopped play.' How wonderful the sun's re-appearance must be too for all those poor people who have been affected by the floods. My thoughts and prayers are with these folks as they prepare to sort out the damage and start to rebuild their lives again.

  3. So einfach machts du aus einem vielleicht etwas langweiligem Posing-Thema ein witziges Event; prima wie immer :)
Sorry, this don't want to be translated.
Two nice girls interacting between flowers - love this post!

So much work on your garden, good that your family is on hand with help. And a good feeling if it slowly gets ready for spring?!

  4. It looks like Laura has learned something new whilst she's been with you....will these girls ever be the same when they return home to their families? I think not! I love both girls outfits, don't they look lovely in their little flowers, such sweetness! I do think they're both natural models though, Laura cottoned on to what she should be doing so quickly!!
The garden is looking good again now Dee, I'm glad you were able to supervise the reconstruction of the fence....and glad also that you didn't have to lift any of those heavy panels yourself!! LOL.
A think a big bonfire might be the order of the day now!!!
