Oh good, a Trendon girl. I am guessing this a photo from last summer as there is no way these pretty clothes are sensible for this time of year in England! Did you knit the top? Who made the pretty dress?
Hi Dollmum The top was made by Gill and the dress by Patty Rose of Sasha wardrobe. Yes the photo was taken when she fisrt arrived and was changed but I cannot remember if that was last year or the year before!!
Thank you Ginger, she would look lovely chatting to your girl's :) what a set that would be !! We do need a reminder that there will be some sun sometime!!
So sorry that I didn't get back to commenting on Belinda but spent the rest of the evening researching the differences between the 1969 and 1970 No-navels...... and think that I have now mastered it and it looks like I have two 1969s and one 1970.
These 1968 girls, like Belinda above, are IMO the prettiest and the most beautiful of the whole English production. Their eyes are softly sprayed and painted and their eyebrows are sometimes feathered. Their expressions display some quite individual differences (as can easily be seen in Steve's collection.)
I always say that if I decided to tailor my collection again and much more harshly with an overall theme then I'd probably opt to only collect the 1968 Sasha/Gregor dolls
That's interesting Kendal! I am going to have to look the details up and see if I can work out what mine are!! I do agree in IMO they are the year to own!! I would love to have a red haired and Brunette haired one but only time will tell as is I would not mind another blonde if the right one came a calling!! :) I think if I had a time machine to go to one year only to buy sasha's it would be 1968 ! :)
What a beautiful girl Belinda is....and the perfect name for her! Doesn't the name 'Belinda' actually mean 'beautiful'? I think it does....and if it doesn't, then it should do in this case!!!
She is a true beauty, she was meant to be mine, as I saw her on ebay and she was due to end at 8am in the morning when I would have been at work ! And then I had to change a day I worked which meant I did not work that morning so could do a last minute bid!! And the Name Belinda is the one she insisted on being called!!! No matter now I tried to think of another name the name Belinda kept coming into my mind until I gave up !!

She looks such a happy lassy! Somehow, I've managed to miss out on 68 blonde girls though I love them.

She is a very sweet happy Sasha. If tales you tell of your youth are anything to go by it's probably just as well... ;)
