JOCELYN
This is Jocelyn my 68 waif, she was a very lucky find on ebay, her stringing is very wobbly and her fringe is very wonky!! But to me she's gorgeous and looks so good in blue!
This is her photo when she arrived she came with a 70's baby Sasha and their photo on ebay was not good but I just knew so took the risk and it paid off!! Surprising what a little love and attention can do!

Jocelyn is so beautiful, what a nice transformation! You have a good eye Dee and Jocelyn is lucky to join your family :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginger that's very nice of you to say :)
DeleteSuch a lovely girl. Did baby move on?
ReplyDeleteYou certainly see beyond bad photos to the lovely doll that is hiding under bad hair does and 'bargain rail' clothing.
Jenni x
Thanks Jenni. Yes I sold the baby on as she would have bought the baby numbers up to 9 at that time and I was trying to keep them to 6 !!! Which made Jocelyn even more of a bargain and find!
DeleteIn the ebay photo she was sitting to the far side of the baby with her face partly turned but I was 99% sure she was a 'hidden' gem and I was pleased to be right!! :)
Goodmorning SS-R and Mrs Mum.
ReplyDeleteGood evening Kendal
DeleteWhat a 'super risk taker' she's turned out to be and what a lucky girl you are!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that my 'risk taking' days have long passed and have to now leave it to the younger people like you who can cope with any financial and stress situations ihat might possibly occur....but what an absolutely gorgeous find to add to your collection. You must be 'over the moon!'
PS. Was worried that I had missed being here before SS-R as overslept until 8.24am. Looking like it will be a day playing trying to catch up with time!
She was not a big risk price wise as I was 99% sure of what she was and I was lucky that I won her for a nice low price, so I was one very happy bunny!! :)
DeleteThat's good you had a lie in , you obviously needed it :)
What a lovely girl she is Dee! I love her eyes....and who cares about a wonky fringe, it just makes us see her eyes better!
ReplyDeleteI love her dress, looks so nice on her with her Hattie beret!
That's what I love about these blonde 68 girl's their hand painted eyes are so beautiful !
ReplyDeleteHer dress is by Ginny of a sasha for sasha on etsy, I bought it at the chat n snap :)
