  3. You people are way too lively late at night, it's a wonder you aren't avoiding the sun like vampires! I'm hoping the sun will be out today as yesterday it was in the low 20s on the coast so spring shouldn't be long in coming. When Christmas is over with I always see it as a turning point for me....winter is almost over!!!! Yeah!!!!!! I really do NOT do winter!
    Lovely photo Dee!

    1. I can only speak for myself and say that I am not a vampire but well Ronny??? Who knows? can Icy Queen's be Vampires? Maybe she's a hybrid !!! We'll be seeing the films in the cinema soon "Curse of the Ice Queen Vampire".....
And as for avoiding the sun I'd quite like a reminder of what it looks like !!
Christmas is a definite turning point usually into more cold nasty weather!! I think some other country's hijacked our weather and sent us theirs and we want our weather BACK!!
I thought the photo was nice too :)

  4. You guys need a little farm life. Quite often, we are in bed before you post and leave comments so I have NO CHANCE of joining in the race to post first, what is MOST UNFAIR!!! Is this farmism? A form of prejudice? If so, I'm sure it is illegal.
As to sun - what do you expect at almost midnight!!!
Really Dee - night = moon
    day occasionally = sun.
Get with the programme! Night time doesn't DO sun!
Sending email re the save Marcie purchases when I've dragged the Sasha Granny out of bed.

    1. Is that like park life in that song by Blur???There is no race to post first apart from Queenie and her ladyship! The rest of you lovely people are calm and collected when you post!!
I LOVE the MOON, I am a cancerian so the moon is important to me and not being a person who needs a lot of sleep I often spend time with my friend the MOON.
Being a pale skinned natural blonde ( Now from a bottle but that's age for you!) the SUN is in fact my enemy !! But I do like to keep an eye on what it's up to!! So enjoy seeing it along with a cooling breeze and a place of shade!!!
Is the Sasha granny a night person or just not a morning person???
      Dee xx

  5. Hee hee! The Sasha Granny is an 'until all the morning work is done, the morning cuppa and breakfast are on the table and before the supper dishes need to be washed' sleeper. She is one of those people who pop into the kitchen 2 minutes before you are about to serve a meal that you've spent hours preparing and brightly enquires as to whether there is anything she can do to help. Now, at 91, I suppose she's entitled to do so, but she's always been a master at doing it! She grew up in a wealthy family with servants and is prone to using ' The royal We.' You know the kind of thing? 'We are decorating the study' means some lesser mortal (ie me, usually) is wielding a paintbrush and she has chosen the paint colour, should she want to be involved at all.
That is precisely why she has lived to her age without too much ill - she has managed to find others to take any burden off her. It's an art I never managed to learn, but my DD and my big brother both inherited the skill. Can it be learned? I could benefit from cultivated helplessness giving me more free time for doll play!
