HARRIET BONHAM CARTER... AKA HATTIE

HATTIE AN 80'S WAIF WITH A PERSONALITY ALL HER OWN!

I saw Hattie on ebay with a buy it now/ make an offer , I did not pause after one look I pressed buy! She arrived at my house and announced her name was Harriet! Hattie for short and within a few days she'd added that's Harriet Bonham Carter did I know! After her Idol Helena Bonham Carter whose style of dress she adores and tries to live by !

She's quite bossy and is very into Hats, which is why she has a business called Hats With Hattietude!! Her Rabbit is called Hoppit and at present she's taken Reuben under her wing! Much to Hoppit's disgust who adores Hattie and does not want to share her affection with another rabbit or bear!!

I see trouble ahead....in fact there seems to be a fair bit of trouble heading this way with the latest arrivals.....

Just realised according to the account section of this blog, this is my 600th post!! So It's finally confirmed I could talk for England!!!!!

  3. Hooray for Hattie!!!!! My Ellory is one of her greatest fans and would love to meet her one day, but I think Ells would be a quivering wreck as for all her bravadary (sp?) she is a shy girl at heart so might find Hatties big personality makes her speechless! Funny how our dolls personalities develope more or less without any input from us!!!! I was expecting Ellory to be completely different when she arrived from Ronny...noisy and tomboyish...shes turned out to be quite the opposite!
Anyway, keep up the good work Hattie, my girls love their berets and haven't taken them off since they got them!!!

    1. I'm sure Ellory and Hattie would get on like a house on fire!! Hattie personality is big but so is her heart!!
It's so true some of these Sasha's turn up and push their way in and make their mark! Be they quiet and sweet or cheeky or a handful! but they do have some interesting traits !!

  4. Hooray for Hattie (another Trendon). Hattie certainly knows how to show her hats are versatile by matching them with pretty dresses and all sorts of other outfits in her photos (she knows not everyone wears HBC style clothes) so she obviously has an eye on what her customers like.

As for Reuben and Hoppit - it's like two children vying for their mum's attention and elbowing each other surreptitiously so that mum doesn't see! Reuben might say he doesn't want Hattie but it's probably also fun for him to annoy Hoppit.

    1. Hattie does love her hats and like others to like them too! So keep her HBC style for personal use only, she'll go far as a business woman when she grows up!

Hoppit and Reuben are difinately like a pair of kids fighting, not so sure that Reuben's quite accepted his fate yet!!

  6. Congratulations on your 600th post.

I'm all for individuality and character and Hattie has this more than any other Sasha featuring on any blogs!
'Me and mine' here are rather in awe of her, especially when it comes to her somewhat 'jaw-dropping' clothing fashions.
We admire her buisness-like quailties and no-nonsense common sence and could do with adopting some of those here.

(I'm wondering if there could be a rule introduced at your end making blog publishing illegal after 10.30pm as it gives SS-R an unfair advantage over me in the 'first to comment competition' as I try to take advantage of the fact that 'any sleep gained before midnight is more beneficial than any after' ....and my rapidly aging body sure needs all the help it can get whereas you, younger and fitter souls, obviously don't need as much sleep and rest!)

    3. Thank you Kendal, hattie will love that you and yours find her clothing 'jaw dropping' ! :)
She indeed a lovely girl who will go far !

Unfortunately I must post whenever I am able, due to working long hours some weeks and short others ! And then there is when the inspiration strikes!! :)
Personally if I get six hours sleep I call it a lie in!!! :)

  9. What on earth is this crazy competition between SS-R and K all about??? Is speed really of the essence? Do these posts vanish or what???
But enough of that. Many congratulations, Dee, on a) 600 ab fab posts. You are utterly amazing! And b) on being able to hang on to Hattie when there are probably a whole string of us wishing to adopt her. She is quite something. Clearly a girl with spunk 'n style. Love her!
Thanks for keeping us entertained. Long may it continue!!! Love, Karin xxx

  10. Good evening Miss Bonham Carter.
Could you tell me, which hats will be on trend in the summer of 2014? I do so wish I had your poise and sense of style. Unable to be a leader in fashion, I can at least learn from you and follow your example.
Another of attribute I truly desire is to be journalist of the calibre of Mrs Mum whom, I understand, you graciously allow to live with you. Please forward my congratulations on her 600th edition of news, views, social gossip and fashion tips from The Sasha Village.
    With very best wishes,
    Connie

    2. Good Evening Miss Connie
I am about to start work on my summer collection but cannot give any details due to the fact I have not quite decided, and although I like to set the fashion I don't want people making them before I get a chance !! due to my workforce ( Mum ) insisting on going out to work because she says we make her poor as a church mouse!! Not that she's ever met a church mouse to my knowledge!!
So clever of you to notice we allow Mrs Mum (as the bears call her ) to live here and put her ramblings on this blog! We think it's cheaper than having to buy her lots of medicine and pay for the old peoples home!! :)
Just joking , we love her really...
      Best wishes
      Hattie xx
