CLAUDIA

I found this photo of Claudia from July 2011, she is standing on the patio table surrounded by plants that were waiting to be put into the garden.
She is a 1970 brunette who loses the odd hair now and then but as the most beautiful deep brown eyes.I bought her off the German ebay , she had gone round once and not been bought even though she was a very good price, so when she was listed again I asked if they would send to UK and I was about to go on holiday so could I pay when I returned if I won her, the seller was happy with both requests and you can see the result.

This photo is so lovely and summery for this time of year, so thought I would share it.

  2. I too love the Sashas, like Claudia, with the plumper round faces and dark eyes and as you know the brunette haired dolls are my favourite hair colour.
Her red dress and hat are beautifully enhanced by the greenery around her. Sashas and nature at it's best.

Reminds me of when I now go into the conservatory, where I am hopefully over-Wintering my outdoor Geranuim plants, as a few of them are still flowering, their red flowers showing up brightly against the green foliage. Only hope that I can save them as I know that February and March are the two months that can easily finish them off as I'm planning to take cuttings from them in March as I hadn't the heart to do this, as I normally do, at the end of Summer as they were blooming so beautifully.

    1. The colour red certainly suits the brunette's.I love taking photo's in the garden when the plants are in flower.
Good lucky with your Geranium, hopefully it should survive til spring :)

  3. She's absolutely lovely Dee and it is my one regret that my Bailey, with her similar eyes and face shape, lost her hair so quickly. If I could go back, I would never have washed it, but hey, we live and learn, don't we!!!
She looks beautiful against the greenery. For us this is the time when our garden is incredibly green (the weeds help!!!) but come the summer everything gets quite dry and dusty! I remember our Geraniums when we were in the UK flowering all through the window in a sheltered part of our garden....here we find that they can so easily burn up and we have to start over the following year....especially if, as last year, we are at the coast for 5 months, and our son forgets to water them!!!! Oh well!!!! :)

    1. Thanks Sharon, I must confess I have not washed her hair because it would probably all be in the sink once I finished!!
It does help if your child remembers to water the plants but I have found that it's not top of their agenda and they seem to think if they watered it three days after you left that will do until you get back!!!

    2. You are so right on the plant watering. We constantly remind Brendan when we're away but honestly, he is terrible for doing it!!! And he always forgets some so we come back to poor lifeless plants....which he swears he did water!!!!!

  4. She is a beautiful girl, Dee. Like Kendal, I especially like the dark haired Sashas/Gregors, particularly if they have the wider, younger looking face, though I've never managed to buy one yet.
The colour of her clothing looks amazing on her.
