Came across this photo of Paige my dungarees girl. She is wearing a lovely blouse by Ruth Hartley that I bought at the Sasha festival in Stratford upon Avon, cream cord crops by my sister Michelle and Rosie Bloomfield Sandals, I just love Rosie's sandals they remind me of the Clarks childrens sandals of the
50's through to the 80's.

Paige looks wonderful in this outfit :). I love her shoes too, all of the colors are so nice for her too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginger. The colour of the blouse does not show well, it's got lovely little lilac flowers and Rosie's shoes are so gorgeous.
DeletePaige is a wonderful Girl. I love the red plaits very much. I love her blouse and her shoes too. She looks a bit dreamy, I like this:))
ReplyDeleteThank you, she is a little sweetheart, who I age at about 5 or 6 and she is quite shy :)
DeleteHoping that I'm here before SS-R.
ReplyDeleteYes Kendal - you are!
ReplyDeleteFor my eyes it seems a (pirates?)ship is landing behind Page, but she don't mind. (doesn't ??)
She's a beauty and looks something very 'pastel' and shy.
The left arm makes a unsure gesture, like 'ah - please, can I go now...'
The sandals are great , love this form!
That's a banana plant! but it could be a space ship? landing behind!! She doesn't mind :)
DeleteShe is shy and quiet and watches the other's in their play waiting to be invited in.
Edward is her Panda bear who looks after her :)
I always think that the Dungaree girls are rather special. Love how their hair can be plaited evenly due to their full cente part plus.... giving a neat centre lined back view.
ReplyDeleteTheir original grey dungaress and white blouse was, and still is, my very favourite of ALL the Frido/Trendon's oitfits. (The very short pale pink dress on the 1969/70 brunette 'Party' girls being the second and the 1960s Gingham dresses the third.....especially tn the rarer tiny checked material.)
Paige is wearing a very pretty outfit complete with a lovely little reminder of my first Sasha Festival (and unfortunately due to them mainly being in the US, most probably my last.)
The Dungaree's girl was the Sasha I wanted , when I first started to see all the different types available and it took time to get her but she was well worth the wait. She has the blue dungarees.
DeleteVery pretty blouse - and love the dusky pink sandals
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty but the colour is not showing too well in this photo.
DeleteWhat a lovely girl Paige is! Love her hair and her outfit is perfect for her. I agree, those sandals are really nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, she is a favourite of mine :) I was very pleased with her outfit and I do love Rosie's sandals and hope she'll start making some again in the future.
