What a sweet post! Such a lovely story - no words needed. Gorgeous bench just perfect for the babies to clamber on! And beautifully dressed babies, I have to say! I think I like them best in these babygrow outfits. So cute! I am glad one of the girls also finds the bench comfy, if a tad short. Love those hugs! Wonderful. xxx Karin
Thank you Karin but the story was the one YOU saw :) They are cute in their babygrow/sleepsuits. I keep thinking I will sell the bench , it comes apart and I forget I have it, then I put it together to sell put the babies on it , then remember why I keep It!!
I see the babies are holding a Beatrix Potter card with Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit on it, reminds me of the tale of Benjamin Bunny and their red handkerchief with the onions 'underneath the old puss cat'. Clever of the babies to sneak back onto the bench at the end when they saw it was unoccupied again.
The Card is actually a mini book of Benjamin Bunny, part of a set. I was luckily enough to pick up another few of the sets last year for a very low price on ebay. i just need a little bookcase to keep them in :) I'm glad you enjoyed YOUR story :)
Great little bench. Where did you get that from? I too like the babies in their 'babygros' or sleepsuits. Next Sunday all my babies are dressed in their DD sleepwear.
Although I do enjoy silent movies I think that I prefer to have some Sasha Village wording especially if it is in 'Dee rhymes.'
(I love the Peter Rabbit stories. One of my brothers had the whole set in a lovely little wooden bookcase so I didn't buy a set for Chon as she used those to read.)
I have had the bench for a few years, it comes apart and I put it away, then find it and think Oh I am not using that, I'll sell it. I put it together sit the babies on it, then decide to keep it!! Today I have left it up and put the babies on it on the shelf , so it's finally getting used!
Kendal the story in the photo's was YOUR'S to make and enjoy :)
I gathered that but the brain is tired at that time of night so likes life to be made as easy as possible. What I did see was some helpful (and interesting) little movements as the babies helped each other to finally get themselves into a sitting position on the bench. Then along comes their sister who takes them off for their afternoon nap (or encourages them with some other tempatation to leave the bench so that she can use it?) whilst she enjoys a little relaxation on the bench. (I particularly liked how she lifted and held them and shows my point of how easy it is to pose and photograph the Sasha babies well.) It is why they return to the bench later on when it is vacant again that puzzles me although the book probably holds the clue here......to read a story.
Would be most interested to hear what other people (especially the director) made of this post's storyline.
What I saw , was two babies finding and deciding to get onto the bench, they help each other on and are very happy with their achievement, then along comes their sister to say it's time for a nap. after giving them both hugs and carrying them off to sleep, she pauses to catch her breath but the bench is too small for comfort so she goes away to find a more comfortable stop, the bench is empty again.....but then after their nap the babies are back and this time they have a book to look at while they enjoy sitting on the bench!!
Thanks Denise. Wasn't far off the mark then? Brilliant idea of a 'wordless' post. Would no doubt save me a lot ot time although I would probably be getting so many queries and questions afterwards that it might take me much, much longer to reply to individually.
Love The Bench" Dee! If only benches could talk, what would they say about your precious babies and sweet sister? I think it would be a loving message. Wonderful post :)
Ahh that was a very nice story, I really enjoyed it even without the words. I love the little brunette cuddling her baby siblings.....and yes, I agree those babies look so cute in their baby-grows....all snug and no gaps for drafts to go in! When I get my baby........... :) Cute bench too.....works well for those tinies.
So glad you enjoyed the story you saw in the photo's, if interesting to hear what people saw :) I think you should have at least one baby. :) That bench could work for another tiny I am thinking ;)
