Claudia was a lucky find on the German Ebay site, she's already gone round once unsold and then was re-listed, so I asked if they would send to UK and would they wait for payment as I was about to go away for a week, they said yes, so I placed by bid.
So here she lives in the village.

Claudia is really lovely Dee and so are all of your photos of her! Don't you just love those older brunettes! I also think this dress is particularly pretty on her, suits her colouring perfectly!

Mine's the 1st of July , so I could be Sasha of the month , only I'm a blonde not a Brunette!! Drat!

Now this is MY kind of girl! I just LOVE the brunettes and the 70s ones with the beautiful big brown eyes are my true favourites. Her choice of dress is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite phots of her are the 4th and the one by the bird bath, a distance shot amongst all the luxurious growth in your garden. - tried to count down but having a bad MS day and can't scroll and count easily. Bl..ted right arm!! So no sewing or easy dressing of Sashas for me today, moan, moan, moan! But it is the result of starting to plant up the area round the mud spot that will gradually turn into my beautiful big pond for the Sashas to enjoy, so there's some consolation.
Lest I forget, happy 20th to you, 11th to Sharon, 10th to Moose Brains (big brother) and all other June people xxx (do I hear a 'can I have a new Sasha for my birthday if I remind you almost 3 weeks before' hint there for Paul?!! LOL)

Hi Jenni, Sorry to hear you are having a bad MS day, if I had thought about it I could have numbered them!! especially as there are so many!! But Claudia is so photogenic that it was hard to chose just a couple.
DeleteSounds like you are getting some gardening in, which I think everyone will be doing while we have a spot of dry warm weather.
It's not my Birthday until 1st July but it is Mossy's no one fans and also my daughter Courtney's on the 20th which is why they got a special mention.
There is a birthday Sasha awaiting arrival , not to sure she'll make it by the 1st but who knows!

ReplyDeleteThe brunettes with their brown eyes are, as most of you know, my favouirite of the Frido/Trendon dolls too. Such a shame that they had to have this great misfortune of the falling/breaking hair syndrome.
My favourite photos of her were nos 3, 6 and the last one but everyone was a winner when viewing the garden.
I'd like to join you in wishing everyone who has a birthday in June a very happy special day.... especially one of your daughters on the 20th? and my daughter who will be 50th on the day before.
The rest of you have a very happy, healthy and Sasha-play filled month.
Thank you Kendal, Claudia and I had such a great time out in the garden we landed up with lots of nice photo's hence the multi pictured post! Hopefully I managed not to repeat the same photo three times but from different distances!!
DeleteAs you know I love the reds but these earlier brunettes do have a special look about them and Claudia is my favourite , she does lose the odd hair now and then but has plenty so no fear of her going bald over night!! hopefully.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post. Just love Claudia. Her dress is beautiful. You have a gift for storytelling because the photos tell of a young girl wandering the garden. It is hard for me to say that I like one photo more than another because they tell me of a young girl in her garden...one that I would like to wander in taking it all in. I love the close ups where I get to see her lovely face & dress. More than that I liked to wander in the garden with her. I think if I were in that garden it might take me rather a long time to wander down all of the garden paths taking I all of the different vistas.

ReplyDeleteI really like photos six and ten. I always love the photos with Sashas looking a bit sad or reflective as in photo six. Photo ten is a favorite because of the way the shot was framed. It was such a pretty setting. If you hadn't shown close-up shots of her I would have thought to myself "what does she look like, I can't really see her." But, since those shots were included, I could enjoy photo ten as a lovely picture.

Hi Rosie & Lora , these photo's are so nice even if I am blowing my own trumpet!! lol it was not me but the perfect subject though that made the difference. I was so surprised when I found out Lora's birthday was on the 20th! the same day as my youngest daughter Courtney :) but then I knew the child has excellent taste, so she had to have a good birthday date!! :)

ReplyDeleteAha, Merrick too....I believe she is responsible for reintroducing me to Sashamania as an adult. I think she sold my Emrys and Gwynfor to me some years ago and I haven't looked back since. So a special Happy Birthday to her and all others too.
As for MAKING the cake, Ronnie, it's the EATING of the cake that's important.
