HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD!

Tonight is Oscar night in Hollywood and on Friday it was decided that on the face book Sasha group we'd do Oscar night, dressing our dolls for the big event and sharing them photo's.

I'll pass you over to the reporter outside the theatre where tonight's winners and losers are waiting to find out their fate!


First up is Sophie in a lovely gown by the new couture group Ruffles R Us ! She's braving the cold without a coat ! What a trooper!Loving that tan , she must have picked up while filming in France her soon to be released film, Carry on Tanning!


Looking back over her shoulder she makes her way into the theatre to find her seat and hopefully be spotted by a director!


Next in was Claudia Joan Collins a well established actress of over fifteen films, she is wearing her trademark Leopard print , it would not be Claudia without that leopard print, she's happily waving to all her fans who are calling her name.


Pro that she is she stands patiently to allow all the mass of photographers to get their shots. Looks like Claudia is O' Natural under that jacket! What a girl!!


Now we have the up and coming young actress Tatiana Waif, looking very of the moment in her shawl and green boots with short dress.


Tatty turns and lets the shawl fall open to show off her white dress by Petti Coate!


This youngster is up for best actress for her role in the film Girl Most Odd! and she could just win!

I can hardly hear from the incredible roar of the crowd as our next star arrives to enter the theatre...


It's the two times Oscar winner Virginia 'Red ' Owen ! This young lady is a wonder to watch on the big screen, she makes your heart sing or weep with her wonderful performances! Could she make it a third tonight!!


She is wearing the top designers tonight, her wonderful rich purple velvet coat is by the doyenne of fashion Frances Trickett, who only dresses the best! I can spy that her dress is by Dollie Patch the American fashion house and she's also on trend in Lisa Boots.


Will she win tonight for her heart breaking portrayal of Effie in Gone with the bins! The sequel to that famous old film Gone with the wind ! Only the person with the golden envelope knows! So lets get this party started!!

      Hattie was walking around with a placard which said " What About Helena? Where's her Oscar!! " I do believe she only agreed to stop when Johny Depp invited her to his after Oscar's Party where she was last seen hassessing Harvey Weinberg about giving Helena the lead in his new film The Princess needs a wee.. I mean The Princess and the pea!! :)

    Did Hattie Bonham-Carter not get a nomination this year or even a ticket to the big event? I was expecting to see her, though maybe she is in the next wave of arrivals.

      Hattie was on a mission to get her Idol Helena B C an Oscar, she feels that the Motion picture industry need reminding of her talent!! It cost me several hundred dollars to get her released from Jail after she poured a drink over Daniel Craig when he said Helena was too small to be a Bond girl !!! I am awaiting for plane's arrival now!

    But who won???? Or are there more stars to come?

    I'm so glad my girls all went to bed early and missed this, goodness knows what straight off-the-catwalk high fashion they would be demanding if they'd seen the Village starlets.

      Well you can see who won on the next post but my reporter was late and missed Hattie's protest, she'd gone off with Jonny Depp by the time the reporter arrived and lots of the others were already inside waiting for the fun to begin!!

    Oh gosh I'm also glad that my girls didn't know about this event....they'd be begging to be included and who knows what time they'd get to bed...and a school night too!!!
    Love the girls in their oh so catwalk outfits Dee and am dying to know who won of these three ladies :)

      It was a rather hastily gathered party that made it to the event, they had special permission to miss school for a couple of days! It's not everyday you get to attend the Oscar's!

    Oh Dee, I so enjoyed seeing your "red carpet" line up and reading their many accomplishments and about their designer gowns worn in the world of movie stars and star struck fans. They are dressed so beautifully and I am glad that I do not have to decide on a winner. But if I did have to choose, I would choose you Dee to win the Oscar for the best screen writing and photography of Sasha Dolls!!! :) xxx

      I am glad you enjoyed the trip down the red carpet with my girls :) It's very nice of you to nominate me for an Oscar for script writing :) I have always fancied writing a script for a movie!! :)xx
