Oh NO ! SNOW.............
Just what I don't need late at night with the temperature dropping and work in the morning !! Ginny ! What are you doing out there!
"Pardon? Oh you are testing your jacket ! Well ? I see... it's good and is keeping you nice and snug, I am very glad to hear that but I would also like to hear the sound of your footsteps heading back indoors....... Don't be cheeky You are making a sound .. a snow crunching sound..so scoot! In now ! "
I only needed three more days.....snow free....

What is that child doing outside in the snow at this time of night? We have it too and I drove home in it tonight at 10pm.
ReplyDeleteJust shows how stressed I am by the snow I did not even realise the time!!! ;)
DeleteDriving home is good....before it freezes over night....that's bad... :(
Oh, Doll Mum, have you forgotten your childhood?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, snow is snow and you just HAVE to be the first person to walk over it! I reember taking 25 little London kids on school journey and waking them up at 2 am on the Friday morning because I'd seen a sudden fall of 6" - they made snowmen by moonlight and then we rolled the head teacher into a giant snowball. It was FUN!!! Even the being snowed in and not able to go home until the following onday was great.
Happy, bady missed days.....
Childhood , when snow was a wonderful thing!! Sounds like the children you taught were very fortunate to have one such as you do give them fabulous memories to carry into their adult lives.and that Head teacher was an angel to be rolled in the snow!!!
DeleteWhy doesn't my letter 'M' key work unless I take a hammer to it????????
ReplyDeleteMaybe you have stored a Sasha under it ? and she need removing..NO? well could be a piece of chocolate?? No.... well sorry no idea then :)
DeleteOOOOOh snow!!! Well although I don't like the cold, I do like the LOOK of snow! Isn't it funny though how when we were kids we just wanted the snow, the cold didn't even come into it! I suppose if I'm really truthful, I can completely understand why Ginny wanted to be the first out there to see it.......
ReplyDeleteDrive carefully Dee, and keep warm!

Snow does look lovely and I adore the view of a snow covered field with trees glistening with snow But all roads I want perfectly dry and snow-less and ice-less I feel it's not to much to ask!!
DeleteI am pleased to say that once I slid off the drive..a little dicey.. and crept over the icy snow to the main road, it was beautifully clear all the way to work.
hugs Dee xxx
Luckily we had ours in the morning on Thursday but unfortunately the sun came out and melted it all a few hours later so 'no Sasha in the snow' pics!.
ReplyDeleteI am very pleased to report that almost all the snow here's melted during the day! Which was why I took my photo opportunity when it fell last night!! x
DeleteWe got snow everyday, at noon it thaws a little,
ReplyDeleteso it can better freeze to a nice slippery slide in the night.
Fun for the kids, as they are short and falling isn't a prob for them :)
But I'm grown up; esp. old now and just fall down the stairs -without any ice- don't need that again *sigh*
M - just a test.
DeleteT - it works -*g
Thank goodness we do not have snow everyday and then it thaws so we get to slide, I am definitely too old to go skating!!
DeleteHope you are recovered from your fall down the stairs!!
Ginny looks fabulous in her jacket!! She is beautiful and brave! Stay warm! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteShe is indeed Ginger :)xx
