DECEMBER 1ST

La lala la la la la la , It's the season to be jolly . Yes it's that month of the year when most children are writing to Santa and asking for all the things they've seen on the TV in the last few weeks ! I have to say that I was on Santa's naughty list because of what I told  my very young children, when expensive wonderful toys appeared on tv all day everyday on the lead up to Christmas, so much so that my eldest aged about five would turn round after watching such a wonderous toy, and say " we're too poor for us to get that hey mummy "  To which I would reply yes ! Naughty mummy ! I'm probably still on that list . . .

Well I did get Clara's tank top finished, the colour is brighter than shown. So now I'm going to spend a little time making some Tam o' Shanter's for the dolls. well once I find the pattern book !

I received another set of twelve cardigan's from Michelle for the Chat n Snap. Every time she shows me a photo of six of them I always complain they are too dull but when they arrive I can see all the lovely colours.

I am loving having all these little cardigans in all the different colours.

Now all 24 mixed in together. Another sixteen at least to go, but will I be able to put them in those goodie bags when the time comes?

I've been knitting a few berets for my dolls, using up some Christmassy yarn.

I love how the yarn is self making these nice sections of the different colours. I just reds and greens this time of year.

Paul's been working on repairing the missing section of my new little cupboard.

Nice work on copying the original design.

Getting the colour right as taken some time, this is not it! But finally it was done and put up into the bedroom ready for me to do my bit.

So finally the dolls have moved in.

Still needs a little more work, a fireplace a Christmas tree etc. But at least it's in place and use. I have to confess a lot of small bears will be coming for Christmas ! Once a certain tales been told.

Today's headliner is Percy, looking nice and snug in his Delectable Delights jacket and his Ginny cords along with nice sturdy Petrana shoes.

No doll in or out news as it's now December , so quiet and resting.

Now Granny's tale will hopefully start on the 12th so it can run up to Christmas eve. I have been have trouble with both my knees, it used to just be the left which was bad but now , probably because its had to take all the work, the right is giving me trouble. But the tale will happen and has mainly been put back because I am off to Bath for a doll weekend, so once that's done with I can start on Granny's Christmas tale.

Don't forget to send in those photos for the 5th December and look for a post about my weekend next week soon to be followed by Granny.

On that note have a great healthy festive week ahead.

Dee
