AT LAST......

A box appears.....

YES! at last the boys box of clothes as appeared !!! Found by the DH who is claiming no prior knowledge!!

It appears that a couple of girl's item's had also been left in the box.

You can see why I was worried at it's loss, these are some of the Dolly Doodles outfits stored inside.

A coat set and some Pj's, the Pirate set by Nelly Rose and the check set by Lesley Shaw.

These are the trousers and sweater I wanted to find to put on the boys for the new year. The lovely cord trousers are by Ginny of A Passion for Sasha with sweaters knitted for me by my sister Michelle.
The grey sweater and hat I won at Judith's Sasha fun day they are by Jane Woodbridge/ Woodward?.

This lovely brown sweater, hat and gloves set is by Hagnolly. I first saw it on one of Ronny's boys and loved it on sight, then was lucky enough to see it on ebay later and snapped it up quick! I bought a lovely pair of brown cords off Ginny to go with it but It would appear that I did not put them in the box so another search needed!! I'd best go have a look for them ...................

While the cat's away.....

Oh looks like one of the boy's is eager to get into a sweater!!

Mm he's having a bit of a struggle ....

Oh he's putting on the wrong hat! and thinking about it he looks a little small for one of the boys.

Looks like someone's getting themselves some warm clothes....wonder what the cat will think when she returns to find that the mice like winter woollens.......

  1. LOL, would you please send Paul over here to look for something I've lost? I know that I have a riding hat here for a tiny BJD, and I bought her a horse the other night so she needs the hat to prevent her from hurting herself should she fall. I have hunted high and low for the darn thing, but do you think I can find it? NO!!!!
I'm really glad you found your boys clothes, because there looks like there is a lot of lovely stuff there for them to wear.
And who is that little mouse trying on all those big boys clothes!!!! I suppose you can't blame him for wanting to find himself some warm clothes to wear, he has probably been sleeping rough recently!!!

    1. Ha! Get in line Sharon!! Paul has a prior engagement to come here and build a row of shops, with Sasha apartments above. Only trouble is, I forgot to inform him that he has been employed....

    3. Jenni, unfortunately the list of jobs I give Paul means he is unlikely to be available until he's very old and forgetful ! So as long as you don't mind contantly repeating yourself I'll send him round in about 2026 !!

  2. I'm so pleased that the boy's clothing box has finally turned up especially when I see all those super clothes that were stored in it.

Frightening to see that little Lucas getting ready to make a grand entrance.Looks like life at The Village will never be the same again.

  5. Sorry - just deleted my message because of all the spelling errors - typing at 5a.m. is NOT a good idea.

Anyway, I am making a plea for that poor, lost little boy who has to resort to stealing clothes. Personally, I think he hid the clothing box so that he had somewhere warm to creep into each night. Is nobody searching for this child? WHERE ARE SOCIAL SERVICES WHEN A CHILD NEEDS CARE???
I take a personal interest in this little boy's case as I adopted his twin who is a delightful tot. If nobody helps this lost lad soon, steps will have to be taken. Hattie is not the only when with hattitude when roused. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

    2. Well, there could be a deal of confusion, all of my making. My Sasha kids are all eco friendly - that's my excuse for them so often wearing second hand clothes. I am hoping to obtain a plum outfit.... that may have belonged to Lucas.... and dress his 'good twin' in it because Connor has precious few clothes....
This reminds me of Fatima and Akhlima - twin girls who were the terror of our nursery class. Tricks such as swapping hair ribbons so we thought we were working with Fatima, and making notes about her progress, then discovering it MIGHT have been Akhlima....or maybe not? We separated them into two different classrooms when they were 5, but you were never quite sure if the right girl was in the right room....They were my favourite ever girls to teach. I always loved the naughty kids! They are now a heart sspecialist and a psychologist - so there's hope for Lucas yet...

    3. Who is stealing clothes? And social services are a lost cause if ever I have seen one!! and certainly not the people to call if any stray little soul may be wandering the viallge looking for a place to lay the head....opps I mean his head :)
Should Lucas arrive at my door I am sure he can be saved...Ronny...because he is only a child and therefore there is time to change him to the good side ,if he's escaped the icy wastelands of deepest darkest sussex.....:)

    4. No Dee no!...Lucas has slipped over to the dark side. He's naughty but not nice!!! A leopard can't change its spots... :)

  6. Is Storm protected? I'm envisioning trouble ahead. What a relief that the box of clothes has been found! Now, if only my daughter's Baby Bird's bird would turn up...
Not likely as we suspect Gus our golden retriever ate it :(

    1. Storm is surrounded by lots of brothers and sisters who will see that she comes to no harm! It is a relief the box as been found I was begining to believe that some how it had been thrown out!!

You may have to make a replacement baby bird if theGus as eaten it!! You cannot tell him off, retriever's are so good and sweet :) We have had two Cassie and then Jasper both the most beautiful dogs you could wish to own. :))

  7. Good, the box of clothes has surfaced at last, well done Paul. Looks like a baby mouse known perhaps as young Lucas is already taking possession of some of the big boy clothes... I wonder when the others in the village will notice him.
