BEFORE AND AFTER

Gill sent her girl Emily off for a re-root , here is her before photo.


She had a lovely red real hair long wig and she looks lovely in this photo from a couple of years back.




And here she is now with her re rooted non real hair in two tones of red.
Almost a different Sasha! but you can see Emily in there. I think she looks lovely but must be like getting a new Sasha. I'm sure Gill will get used to the new Emily and at least now her hair will stay still when she's getting changed!

    She's pretty and her new hair looks lovely.....I'm still thinking of having my redhead girls fringe thickened a bit.

      She does look good. Is your red fringe too thin?
      I have a red that needs some adding in the fringe department but thats for another time!

    Great before and after photos of Emily.
    There is certainly advantages and disadvantages in the 'to wig or to re-root' situations.

    If I only had one or two Sasha Dolls then definitely wigging I think is the way to go to allow for some different variations on a theme, giving you almost like several different dolls to wear the outfits.... but luckily you and I are no longer in that category.

    Enjoyed seeing THE Ruthsdoll's dress again although you will be pleased to hear that my green version is now growing on me and my dolls, as you will hopefully see in my next blog post.

    Love Emily's first outfit too and the way you have added the brown socks instead of the usual white. I enjoy teaming some of my girl's clothing with the darker socks too. Makes for a slightly, more personal look.

      Yes there are advantages and disadvantages with wigs. Yes you get to change their look completely with wigs , but then they fall off or you dont realise they've moved until after younhave taken all the photo's and downloaded them!!

      I found that I left my Sasha in just the one wig all the time!!

      I too love the Ruth dolls outfit, always so well made and just perfect for Sasha.

    Lovely photos! Merit in both styles of hair, I think! Both of them suit Emily really well. But I know Gill likes her straight cuts, so she must be very happy with the result of the re-rooting!

    And who does Ronnie hang out with, I should like to know???

      i agree but the new re rooted hair is looking good the more I see the photo!

      I am afraid that Ronny aka the Ice Queen hangs out with little terror tots called lucas and Tatum and Little Shelly, where she is obviously picking up...OR teaching them this street cant.. :)
