STEPPING INTO SPRING

Well today I finally got to change some of the girls into their spring outfits.

So first to model her outfit , which is a new one this year from Ruth Hartley is Christy.

Christy is standing in the rockery and that rude little gargoyle is sticking his tongue out at her!

Christy says to ignore him , he cannot help himself , it's just the way he's made!

She decides to walk over onto another part of the rockery and admire the daffodils.

Joan keeps a watchful eye as Christy wanders amongst the plants.

She's discovered the Fritalaria's which she says match her dress in colour .

and I have to agree that they are a good match.

Christy looks like she could be one of them.

Oh no! That cheeky little gargoyle is trying to get in on the action ! Well it's starting to turn cold so we are off back inside to see if we have any cardigan's to keep Christy warm until the weather truly warms up!

  1. Well spotted. Christy's dress perfectly matches your Fritalarias.
She certainly fits in and looks really gorgeous out here amongst this Spring environment... but, as you suggest she would be wise to go indoors in search of a cardi as the forecast says that we are due to get colder and stormier weather coming from the US over the next few days.

    1. It does, which I was very Pleased about :) Alas the days turned so cold and She's now wearing her cardie but her puffed sleeve make her look like she could be out on a rugby field in defence!!!
The winds started to arrive from the US!

  2. Christy looks just beautiful in that dress, but she seems to look beautiful in everything she wears. You have a lovely garden, rowdy gargoyles not withstanding. It certainly looks more spring-like than in our part of the world.

    1. What can I say, there seems to be a few other worldly creatures hanging about this garden ;) It would be lovely to have some of your Spanish warmth for a while! xx

  5. Ruth does such beautiful work; Angelo has many clothes from her. This dress is a lovely colour and matches the fritalaria perfectly. Yellow and purple, daffodils and fritalaria; your garden is looking more and more like spring.
