SUNDAY?

That was the week that was....

Goodness a whole five days at work... tiring!

Especially as the inspector called!! Oh yes the banks do have inspectors , who turn up unannounced to check that all your paperwork is in order or that your cash is being stored , moved and used safely. It was the cash check he'd come to do, on a day when we were very short staffed but had loads of customers! And we passed with flying colours... of course .. was there any doubt? not a one !

So alas no dolly play or anything this week ! Just work , home and rest. However that is Rufus in the photo after a hard mornings training yesterday! Couldn't quite make it onto the sofa!

This morning was a little like this photo , apart from instead of sunshine it was pouring down with rain! and cold ! the temperature has dropped now we are into the later part of the month. Poor old Ginny , the girl in the photo, is still waiting for her arms to be reattached! First I need to remember where I put them !

So we are entering the last week of September! another month that's vanished in the mists! Soon the chat n snap will be upon us and so next weekend I'll need to start checking what still needs doing and where everything is !

Hopefully I'll not leave it a whole week this time before I return ! Have a good week everyone and enjoy the sun , it will soon be cooler all the time but at least we and the dolls can wrap up in our woollies !

  1. Bit too much of a change in the temperatures for me this week as have had to already have the central heating on more than I would have liked.
Well done on passing the the Bank's money inspector check with flying colours. Counting money (unless it's my hidden away stash of brand new notes for those birthday/Christmas gifts!) is not something that I personally like... as it all too readily reminds me of each Monday's term time collecting in (and giving change) for my class' school dinners whilst trying to teach thirty children at the same time. (Just hated too the smell of the coins on my hands and couldn't wait until the 10.30am break time to wash it away!)

    1. We also put the heating on a couple of times early this week.
It was lovely to pass the inspection and know we are doing everything right and nice to know it's done and dusted for a good while!

  2. I love that photo of Rufus, what a little cutie, he must have worked very hard at his classes, bless him!
And Ginny will always be my favourite of your No Navels, she's so sweet, I hope you can get her all back in one piece again soon.
I'm glad to hear the inspection went without a hitch. Have a great week!

Yes I really must sort Ginny out but I fear I've just go too much to do at present but I must find which bag I placed her arms in for safety ! :0 xxx

  3. If you combined those 2 photos you would have one for the Sasha dolls with their pets theme week! Rufus is clearly working hard at doggy school. Glad you passed the inspection at work.

    1. So it would! If I'd thought of it I could have put a sasha beside him , he was sooo tired he'd not have noticed ! :)

  4. The photo of Rufus is the sweetest ever! Dogs are so cute whether or not they're trying to be. It reminds me of one of those "Hang on, Friday's coming" pictures. I was a bank teller for 9 years (and a commercial teller for much of that time). People have no idea what a difficult and demanding job bank work is - the compliance procedures and getting everything to balance. I still work at the same bank, but nothing to do with cash, and for that I'm grateful.

    1. It was one of those.. what's he doing! just turned round and there he was! It is and it gets harder now with all these scammers and con men about, customers don't always appreciate we are looking out for their best interests when we are them for id and then some questions to be sure they are safe!
Lucky you to have escaped the cash side of banking :)
