WONDERFUL RAINBOW OF COLOURS OF GINGHAM DRESSES MADE BY GINNY OF A PASSION FOR SASHA.

Paige, Jenny and Claudia stopped off by the planters to check them out.

Well I hope you enjoyed this Gingham post :) I did actually miss out one of the dresses as I had change Ashley out of that dress and forgot about it until I was about to start taking the photo's. Do you know what colour's missing?
Also one of the No navel girls is also missing , which one, do you know?.

So I may have to go another photo shoot with the missing dress and girl ! Must less photo's so don't worry :)

Many Thanks to Ginny of A Passion for Sasha for making all my gingham dresses over the last few months, you are a star!
Now I was thinking that for the autumn I would like......

  1. WOW what a beautiful rainbow of gingham clad girls, the dresses (and the girls of course) are gorgeous! You really do, as the girls said, go to town!!!
I think of all your No Navels, Ginny is still my favourite and of the Trendon's I think Paige.....although it's quite hard to choose with the English girls. I do love how Ginny is so tiny though, she's almost a Toddler!!!
    Big hugs Sharon xxx

    1. Thanks Sharon, Ginny is still my favourite too! Don't tell the others ;) She is small compared to the others, so could be just slightly older than a toddler :)
I do tend to have a little project when it comes to their clothing ! :)
      Hugs Dee xx

  2. Absolutely delightful!
Can't even begin to guess which No-navel is missing aslost track of them a while ago but might she be a blonde haired lass as seem to remember that yopu had three blondes at one time?
Also thinking that a yellow or black check could be the missing colour here.

Especially love the photo of the three Frido girls on the raised planters area.... but where is Belinda?
My favourite colours are the grey, the olive green, the navy and the purple.

    1. PS. Why hasn't poor Ashley got any socks on?

    2. PPS. If Darcy puts on the purple sandals (that I gave you last June) then Paige can take off her 'too hot for June' suede boots and have the Darcy's much cooler white sandals.

Just remembered that It's vintage-sashas ex 1970 No-navel blonde girl that is missing from here!

    3. Very good memory Kendal but won't confirm all yet in case others want to try and guess! :)
Ashley was feeling quite hot and refused to wear socks!
I will follow your advice re purple sandals and the swapping to get Paige out of the boots, this all comes of not preparing properly for this photo shoot and just doing it off the cuff!! :)

  3. Hello Sasha Village Crowd:

I am so far behind in comments that it is not even funny! I loved Lucas' adventure at the Meet and Eat. My children think that little toddler gets away with far too much, but despite his mischief-making, he seems to have a good heart and I think that Mrs. Mum and the love of the Sasha Village have really done wonders for him. I don't suppose the Ice Queen is very happy, but little Lucas is beyond her reach now.

Speaking of little Lucas, re-reading the whole Lucas Christmas story of last year was really beautiful. We all found ourselves getting teary-eyed over here, and my Sasha says that it was the perfect story to show what a good "doctor" love can be. She thinks it was just the right story to celebrate Christmas.

Congratulations to the winner of the photo contest. I am glad that Gregor is now feeling better, but with all the loving care he got, I am not surprised that he recovered so well. I am wondering. Do you have to have a blog to enter a photo for the monthly contest? I know that I am not an official member of your blog community, but I might like to try my hand at doll photography some day.

I think your new girl is lovely, and your photos of her were beautiful. You are right, she really does seem to fit right into your garden. I really liked your comments about your love of History and I am very envious that you were able to wander freely among all of London's Historical treasures as a girl. I really think that there is not enough appreciation for History in this day and age. Also, as a lover of all dolls, I was not at all put off by the fact that your new adoptee is not a Sasha Doll.

As to today's post. I believe that your missing no-navel is a blonde; Sansa was that her name? The missing Gingham, I believe is yellow in color. I am eager to see if my memory served me well enough.

I love your pictures of all the girls in their Ginghams. They truly look lovely, and your accompanying rhyme made me smile. What an incredible rainbow of pretty colors are available in Gingham. Of course now my girls all want Gingham dresses to wear to school!

Thank you again for the pleasure you give us all with your stories and beautiful photos. We look forward to your next post.

    Sasha love and summer pleasures.

    1. Thank you for all your comments to catch up on whats been happening in the Sasha Village :)
It does tend to be feast or famine with the posts on this blog, depending on if I have time or am full of idea's, sometimes I have no time but so many ideas!

You do not have to have a blog to enter the photo competition, in fact most people who enter do not have one. So its nice to see their dolls in 'public' so to speak :)

I have always loved history and being English am very lucky to be surrounded by it and have been fortunate to grow up in a capital full of the stuff that in those days was free and easy to enter. I lived within walking distance of all the places I mentioned and the Imperial War Museum was another place on my doorstep. I had a cousin( Much older than me) who
worked in the British Museum and took us round the back!
It's the only thing I miss about not living or bring my children up in London, that fact that it's all on the doorstep.Luckily my in laws still lived there when my children were young and the older two got to see many of the sights with their grandparents.

We doll loves , do love to see all dolls to just check if we may just possibly need to have one come stay or not! :)

I'll not confirm which Sasha is missing or what colour until later just to give others a chance to decide for themselves.

Thank you for your kind compliments about my blog posts and stories, I do enjoy doing them and it's an added bonus when they are well received.

Enjoy the week ahead, I hope your weather is as you would wish :)

  5. I am a bit late but I did comment on facebook where I first saw these incredible photos! I love the colorful gingham dresses by Ginny and I, like you, just love seeing our Sashas all in a row and your girls are just fantastic Dee! Do you have a gingham color ready for Magda? I can already envision this line up with one more redhead added to the group. How wonderful and thank you for sharing with us these lovely Sashas! :) xxx

    1. Thanks Ginger, I do like dressing the girls to a theme and then getting them together for a big photo shoot!
Magda does not have a gingham dress at present I think I have most of Ginny's colour now! But she does now have a dress that links her with her two no nose sisters , thanks to a wonderful birthday present from Kendal, so that's all to come :) xxx
