INTRODUCING QUINN

Normally I would not add another post on the first of the month so that the red of the month's picture is there for all to see but I am going to indulge myself as today is my birthday and I have quite a few posts waiting to go on.

A couple of month's ago I saw a picture on Ebay of a re rooted baby for sale, it was a girl with dark mohair but next to her in the picture was a blonde  mohair re root blonde. I loved the look of him but he was not on Ebay so I assumed he'd already been snapped up.

Well I went about my business which of course includes checking ebay every so often when who did I come across but the little re root blonde boy. So I put him in my watching because I was in the process of paying for another Sasha and could not justify buying him but I liked looking at him.

Then Kendal happened! I was checking the posts on the blog's I follow when there was Kendal's latest blog, showing her Bettina re root Quirky with the little mohair curl in the middle of his forehead ! I read the blog and admired the beautiful picture's that Kendal always takes and promptly rushed off to see if the little blonde Bettina re root was still where I left him, for a moment I could not see him but then there he was looking back at me saying " About time Mum " then the next thing I knew I have pressed buy now and he is on his way to my friend Gill ( I felt he was too young to have to hide in the cupboard Lol ) .

So I do hold Kendal and her wonderful post entirely responsible for my lapse!

Well he came home with me from the 'Festival' my birthday present to myself.

And here he is my new baby Quinn, the name that popped into my head as soon as I saw him. I have changed him into a beautiful sailor set that I bought from  Olive ( Hagnolly ) quite a while back but had not got round to using until now.

I'm sure he will become a little favourite.

Well I am going to indulge myself a bit more and add a couple more pictures that I took this morning of Nate, Paige and Quinn in the garden.

This is Paige complaining about all the photo's I'm taking and leaning back in protest!

I'm sure those guardian's are looking at the new baby and saying " It is that another one?"
" Yes, I do not know how he's not noticed"

They are wearing clothes by some of my favourite designer's, Judith of Dollydoodles, Olive of Hagnolly and Sarah of Vintage Sasha.

Well the next post will be in a day or so of the things I treated my clan to at the festival.

  4. Hoping that it's not too late to wish you a very happy birthday as have only just got back from running Heidi and Shelia back to Crewe station after their flying visit to see my Sasha Brood.
It's always lovely to give yourself a Sasha on these special days. Quinn is delightful and looks as though he has already settled in well with the others. I'll tell Anis and my baby with the curl in the middle of her forehead all about him.
    Sasha love from Kendal.

Quinn has settled in very quickly and I can see he'll be leading the others into mischief!
