12th DECEMBER

After working long into the night Granny Fortuna and Bruno finally have the shop ready to open..

It's nearly 8 am, Granny likes to open early, so any children can come in to look on their way to school.

Lots of Christmas cards ready to be purchased and sent off to family and friends.

Puzzles and toys waiting for someone to add them to their list to Santa!

But what's this? Where is Granny Fortuna? normally she'd have seen Bruno off to school and be pottering behind her counter ready to entice the children and their parents to a purchase or two !

It's eerily quiet in the shop...where is Bruno? he'll be late for school but where is Granny ? She's never this late......

  1. Hopefully Granny just slept in late after all of that hard work. The shop really looks splendid!

  3. That looks promising! But a sales person is needed, so the customers don't have too wait any longer.
I hope Granny didn't have too many brandy egg noggs to fight coughing?

    1. Exactly! Granny may have to get some help in. I wonder could Granny be hung over from one egg nogg to many! :)

  5. She's away to ask Mr Dad if he could put up a couple of extra shelves, as Mrs Mum told him she didn't need him until after Christmas!

  6. I think she is sleeping in after all that hard work getting the shop ready again - she has made some good changes from last year and it looks enticing. I wonder who her first customer will be.
