It is a day when people can give a doll to a child or person to celebrate the importance of dolls in early childhood to both girls and boys.
You can, of course , celebrate it however you wish. I thought I'd share these photos from last years Chat n Snap, which display was a toy shops Christmas window of all types of dolls, you can see many Sasha's but also lots of other dolls.

Perhaps it's a good job that I didn't know about this special DOLLS day before now as might well have been tempted to buy/give myself a doll instead of strictly keeping to my downsizing rule.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing all these Chat n' Snap photos again...especially as I wasn't able to attend there myself on this occasion.
If only I'd remembered sooner I may have treated myself to something small in the doll department!

Doll Day - what a great idea! That was a truly amazing display. It's a shame that stores don't do things like that anymore.

Oh I wish I'd realised, I'd have given myself a gift of another new doll LOL! Actually I did get a new doll for myself the previous Saturday when in Barcelona but by the time I got home I realised she just wasn't for me so she has already been adopted out!
