LOVE IS.....

a husband who when hearing you gasp and bemoan the fact that you have just seen your most perfect Sasha and you have no money, says.... " I will buy her and you can just pay me back half ,as and when, and the other half can be your Valentine/birthday present!"

This incredible Sasha is on her way to me today, so now I feel it is almost real I can confess and tell all.

I am going to call her Anastasia Valentine and she is my first and probably only NP.Here are Shelly's beautiful photo's until i can take some of my own.....sooooo excited.......

This from a man who never buys Valentine's cards or gifts.

Now you know why several of my Sasha's and Gregor's are moving home and are up for adoption.

I just hope I don't cry when i take her out of her box!!!

    1. Thank you Ronny. these husband's can come up trumps sometimes :)
So excited did not think I would ever get an NP unless I found her in car boot battered and worn! Not that I'll stop looking..well have not really been and looked yet! have looked in charity shops but need to get out into the wilds of car booters!! I'm sure she'd like a sister just like her ;0

    2. Mine has yet to come up trumps:) Seriously though, I am really, really pleased you have got your dream girl and hand on heart I will enjoy seeing her without a pang of jealousy. I love to see other peoples dolls and hear of the joy they bring. I try to never covet what someone else has because a) it gets you into financial trouble and b) it makes you so unhappy if you can't have it :) See, I have got a heart in there somewhere and it is not made of ice....well, not all of it!!

    3. I think your hubby comes up trumps every time you bring home another poor dog in need of a home! :)

I do believe you must be a long lost sister! I am the same I do not covet others people dolls but enjoy seeing them and life is far to short to be worrying about not having a certain Sasha!and i only own what I want not what I think someone else might want!

I am sure your heart is not made of Ice ;) just a part is very cold when it looks at that poor child Lonely ;0

now i'm off to ask Michelle and my other two sister's if they have any vague childhood memories of another sister snatched from the LeMay nest!!!!!

  3. You're not the one doing the crying Dee!
It's me here who just missed buying her as my internet server went down (it was on that very windy and snowy night) just after I had spotted her and I couldn't email Shelly until an hour later. (By that time I could only be on stand-by in case the deal fell through.)

I wish you every happiness with her and I'm sure that she will be as loved and treasured by you (as she would have been here by me!!!)

This story is just as wonderful as Cassie's Valentine's Day wedding Aniversary. Lucky, lucky you.

PS.If the tears flow when you open her box and pick her up try not to let them fall on HER and mark her face or clothing (do have a handful of tissues at the ready!) as remember I'm here, ready, willing and able!

    1. Now Kendal, she would have got lost amongst all those other beautiful NP girl's you have around the house!
Here she will be the bee's knee's , the head girl, if Hattie allows ;), and not lost in the crowd!!
I will try NOT to weep on her eye's, face or clothing but as she will be living here into both her and my old age, I'm sure it will not be a problem...well until the three daughters want to sell her for their inheritance!!

I can only say she was obvious meant to come live with me as my NP funds were nil and chances slim until the darling DH stepped in :0

  4. I am so pleased she is coming to you because it means we all get to share her on your blog, I did spot her on Shelly's site but just look at the NPs, I can't even dream of owning one as my house still need work, children need educating and my DH has given me my one and only doll gift already.

    2. My Christmas gift from my DH 4 years ago was my lovely Anna Gotz 19.5inch play doll, much less cash than an NP Sasha but beautiful all the same. 2012 Christmas he gave me Sasha Dolls Clothing and Patterns book which is proving very inspirational and useful.

    1. Unfortunately no younger brother and only nephew's either too old or too young for 23yo!

I must agree I do love the red haired Sasha's :)
      Thanks Lauri
