Ashley is reading a book about Shirley Hughes, a wonderful storyteller and artist who died this week.
Who better to read on world book day, than a favourite author of the family's for over forty years.
We are big readers in the family , in fact I had four new books arrive just today , but dare not start them until my knitting is done or it will never get finished ,once I lose myself in a book.
We hope everyone has a good book beside them, to dip in and out of , to lose themselves in and shut out the world, at least for a few precious minutes
