I DID NOT REALISE.....

that I would have to take her APART!!!

I thought I would just be taking off her head!!!!
But after advice from Shelly, who told me to remove her legs! And then Brigitte who explained I needed to remove, legs, arms and torso!!!

I'l now left with this.....

You are supposed to tie something to the hooks in the arms and legs to stop them disappearing! I did have a matchstick holding each of the leg hooks but they fell off when I went to take this photo, so now both leg hooks are tied together!!!

Then I have had to remove all the tufts and the shorts lengths of hair from the top of her head and that took ages!!
But finally I was ready to start.................................or I could just cut her hair as is short and dress her as a monk!!.

to be continued.................................

  1. Sasha abuse!!!!!! Poor little Lucy, I do hope she had anesthetic?

Isn't it harder than you imagine? I'm sure it gets easier after the fifith or sixth one, but I'm nervous to try again.... I'm sure you'll manage just fine and, if not, there's always the possibility of a wig ..... but a MONK?!

But, make sure the leg hooks don't disappear inside her legs - it took me days to get out the one I allowed to fall in!

    1. Sasha abuse!!!! She's getting five star treatment and being a pioneer for any re rooting needed by other poor Sasha's in the future!!
I have at the time of writing this reply only done five plugs but so far it's been a lot easier than I thought!!!! That was probaly the kiss of death to my efforts but we'll see!!
I have now tied up leg hooks for totally safety from going missing!

    2. 5 star treatment??? Remind me not to come to your salon for a hair-do. I prefer to keep my head and limbs where they should be!
It's been over 24 hours..... hope no news is good news and our little Lucy hasn't expired during surgery......

    3. Some customers are just so picky!!! :)
Lucy is doing well, she knows it will be a long haul and is quite happy resting after five rows have been completed and the surgeon's stopped to let her hands recover!!

Looking like everything so far is being done 'by the book!'

Is there no end to your's and Paul's talents?
