THAT'S NOT A....

SASHA!! No it's not ! Today I thought I would share a few photo's of my Kaye Wiggs BJD girl. Elfine.

Several months back I bought this outfit which came off a Helen Kish doll thinking that it may fit her at least the dress would and to my surprise all of it including the tights and boots fit.

I love this girl but do not really do anything with her.

Thought you might like to see the studio !

One day when I have more time I will use her in her own blog .

Here she is holding Ciro who is a little too big for her.

Here is Whitby a much better size but she does have her own bear called Tumble. But he is not about at the moment!

One day I may ask Sharon to re paint her face to take away the pink but not yet! She is still sweet to me! :)

Well I hope you enjoyed this little escape from Sasha, it's always best to be open minded I think! But don't worry Sasha's and bears and Gregor's and story's will soon be back......

  1. I love her blushed look for this time of year - she looks as though she has been out on a cold, wintery day and then come in to the warmth.

    1. It does look nice but can sometimes appear very pink! I waiver been having it done or leaving well alone!! :)

  2. She is very pretty and I would kindly ask you not to tempt your friends down the road of collecting other dolls! We are a weak bunch and easily influenced and resistance is often difficult. Saying all that, I think she is lovely and I love the studio, too. xxx

    1. She is indeed pretty and I can only say that you must resist temptation :) I must say she is the only one of these dolls that I just had to have! :)
I think as long as I stick at only one of any other type than Sasha it will be fine.........That's what I think...... :) xxx

  3. Luckily I'm still a 100% Sasha lover though NO thanks to you and Sharon with all your other doll temptations.
Good job that I'm fairly strong willed and so can still remain 'Sasha intact here!'

That neat little studio set-up is getting 'some Wellie' of late.
PS. Haven't seen those Bramber Bears in action of late!

    1. Luckily I have always been a DOLL lover, so am happy to wander off track if the need takes me! I have never been one to harp after the past of childhood dolls but I do enjoy all different styles of dolls especially with all these new ones appearing! Luckily there is usually a Sasha that I am after that stops me dabbling elsewhere but sometimes I just have to wander like in the case of Elfine here, a wonderful doll and an ELF!! I have always loved Fantasy and medieval so this girl's right up my street!

You are not the first to mention the lack of Bramber bears , they will turn up sooner or later as time and tales allow....:)xxx

    1. Thank you Ginger, Elfine likes to pop in now and then to make sure we remember she's still around! :) The bears are beginning to grumble that they are not getting any blog time!! :)xxx

  5. Awww what a nice diversion too Dee! I am happy to see Elfine is still there and enjoying a little bit of camera time. I too am a DOLL lover and am tempted by all sorts really....although I have to say that at the moment vinyl dolls seem to be my 'order of the day'! I too have that outfit for my KW girls, although I did separate the skirt part of the dress from the blouse part and made some trousers and a beret for another doll from it!!! :) You know me, I can never stop fiddling with thi ngs :)
    Big hugs Sharon xxx

    1. I do so love these Kaye Wigg girls!! :) It's great having a love of dolls but expensive when you see a few that you like!!
trust you to have altered your outfit! Mind you I think it's great to personalise things, it's a shame when people only know how to copy and not tweak them to a new style, same as people thinking certain fabrics , wool and style belong to them when they have all been around for years!
