THREE OF THE BEST

Well to me they are. I just love every single one of these girls.

I decided I would change some of the girls into some warmer clothing and started with Caitlin. She was wearing a skirt set by Ruth Hartley in red tartan, sorry about the stray hairs on her face!

Soon she was in a Vintage Sasha dungarees set that I purchased off Shelly's sales page a couple of weeks back.

Soon all my red haired no navels were in Vintage Sasha Dungarees. But some were still waiting for shoes and even socks! Ginny on the left is wearing the new VSD I managed to purchase at the Chat n Snap.Luckily it's a softer shade of purple that the pair I already owned that Martha's wearing.

Soon after a search and a reshuffle all the girls were in shoes ans socks. Ginny now in purple shoes by Sashapotamus, Caitlin in green Rosie Bloom sandals and Martha in commercial ones in purple.

Ginny, Caitlin and Martha.

It's very cold so we went looking for some coats.

Ginny found this beautiful Plum coloured coat by Karen W.

Next Caitlin put on this gorgeous Turquoise one, which left Martha without a coat to match her VSD's.

Now I do have another purple coat just like Ginny's but I am in to minds whether to keep it , or use it for a Christmas present for a friend...what to do..... poor Martha needs a coats !

Well I still cannot decide but found this one in a lilacy blue which goes quite nicely, so will have some time to decide on the other plum coloured coat.....

Well that's three ready for the cold weather. Now I just have to start on the next group.....

  1. I wonder if the Vintage Sasha Dungarees and coat will be the Village trend this year but I am sure you will keep us guessing. My Sasha family do not possess a coat yet, I hoped to get a vsd coat at the CnS but as you know everyone else swooped before Dmd could get to the set she wanted so our Sasha family will have to wait a bit longer as I don't have the time to make any coats at the moment.

    1. The No navel girls do love their VSD's and these coats by Karen go so nicely with them. the girl's are thinking trousers/dungarees in cord in lots of lovely colour's with beautiful sweaters, scarves and hats and mittens and coats or jackets if they have some for their trend up to Christmas!

  2. What a fabulous 'Village Sasha' trend this would be if it comes about. They would be the envy of all the Sasha collections! So cosy and warm and ready for anything.
I do like the lilacy blue with the deep purple dungarees.

I just adore the pale blue coat that you gave me for my birthday,(many thanks again, (plus the lilac jacket that Ellen sent my girls to thank me for my blogs. More thanks, Ellen.)

A truly wonderful Winter dressed group of red head No-navels! (Now I'm wondering if the rest of the Village clan will get the same superb treatment or is it just that it's because I know the NNs are your very favourite?)

PS. So sorry to read that about DMD's lack of securing a VS coat at the CnS. How very diappointing for her. Remind me to fight in her corner next year.

    1. I think this will be the No Navels wear for the winter but the others will be wearing lovely bright cords and fabulous sweater's with hats, scarves and mittens and coats if they have them!

These jackets by Karen are so great I have been collecting them for over a year in order to get a good colour range!

These girls are top of my pops!! lol I do so love them especially the reds!

The VS sales table was cleared in about five minutes!! I was amazed to find my gorgeous purple dungarees left all alone with one other dress by the time I got to it! I did not even SEE the coats never mind about get hold of one!! You must sign little miss Dmd up for a rugby class before next year so she can take down all those woman and surge to the front next year and get the prize! :)

    2. Little miss Dmd laughed out loud at the idea of her rugby tackling everyone to get to the VS coats - she is so petite (and polite) so would have no chance of succeeding. I did speak to Sarah about making a coat and hat set and will email her, so don't worry, she will get a coat for Laura soon.

BUT first I have to get the wedding over and another Sasha that's slowly winding her way here.....I'll keep my eyes pealed for the boy to match the name... Trendon.......will he be a blonde? a brunette? or a red ? or bald !!! only time and our purchases will tell......you must not show your Trendon until I have mine to see if they match!!!!!

  5. You're on!!! I had forgotten about the wedding! How exciting/expensive for you!! Me thinks then , that a red is out of the question (it is for me anyway) but a waif blonde or brunette may be affordable:) I am looking forward to this!!

    1. I'm in too - you know how those trendy names take off! I once had five little lads called Kyle in my class at the same time. So that will be three Trendon's in the Gregor world. Fortunately for me, I still have one of Ellie's waifs who would like a name. Trendon he is!

Love the way you've dressed the girls above Dee, they do look lovely. You were lucky to get that set because when I went to Sarah's table I nearly bought it, but then went for a different dress instead....which I must share soon as I now have a girl wearing it.
And so I find that it is you who has been beating me to those coats on ebay!!!! ;)
