  2. ......and what a gorgeous start to your now No-navel collection.
I prefer this more solid style painting of the Gotz No-navel eyes to the other. more sketchy design.
Love her coat and the Summer potted Geranuims in the background. Roll on Summer!

    1. Ashley was my first blonde NN girl, Ginny my red haired waif was my very first NN , so a great way to start. I do love this eye style on the nn although the other style is nice too!

Roll on the summer indeed! :)

  3. Oh, another Goetz-Post - love it *g

Thinking about me and the 1969 NoNavels. I like the 1970 more, don't know why.

    1. Until the year before last I had always associated 1969 with the more solid eye painting and 1970 with the sketchier style when I was informed that BOTH styles ran alongside each other for the two years that they were manufactured. You live and learn.

    2. I never know if mine are 69 or 70, so I just call them 69/70, works for me , as I just love them :))

    3. I've been told that it's all to do with the fringe parting but haven't as yet fathomed this out for myself having only three here.
Can you with your six there notice if there are any differences in that area that you can see?

  4. Sigh! Still more Sasha homework for me to do- I wouldn't have a clue how to date a NN, all I know is that Ashley is a little sweetheart.

    1. The No-navels were only produced for two years, 1969 and 1970 in response from the Morgenthaler family for a better produced and more sturdier doll. There were just the two styles of eye painting which ran together throughout both years.
Homework 'done and dusted' as they say.
