QUINN, GEORGE AND ELTON RON

I changed all my babies into their Dolly Doodle babygrows before Christmas with the intention of doing a blog post but of course as is the way of things, they never got a chance to appear. So yesterday I remembered them and took a few photo's.

As is usual not everything was going to plan, the backdrop of white was causing the flash to make the photo's too bright, so I hung this piece of Christmas fabric which usually covers up the bottom of the Christmas tree over the back to take away the glare.

I then had to add the Christmas tree shaped tin to hide where the end of the fabric is because it  was not quite long enough !Also there is a cut in the fabric at that end which appears as a crease in the material.

The DH very kindly went and found the tripod which he set up and attached my camera to, so that I would not get the blurring on the photo's from camera shake, I confess I did still managed to get a couple with bad camera shake!! What can I say... It's a skill !!! :)

The babies decided that they all wanted to  ride on the animal's so the poor reindeer and little polar bear suddenly found themselves with a plump little tyke on their backs !

Thankfully they did not squash them for too long and agreed to sit and still and have some more photo's taken.

I am really pleased with these photo's , the red holly leaf fabric makes a much nicer backdrop than the plain white. So that's another thing for the list, to search through the fabric's to find anything that may be suitable for future photo shoots and also to buy some proper backdrops.

  3. YES! I'm delighted to have SS-R back EVEN though she has beaten me to the commenting today!
(I did check in earlier but no new post.)

Snap Dee! Yesterday I got out my DD sleepsuits so that when my local teacher/Sasha friend comes over she can hopefully help me change my 15 babies plus Bea (the babies who are BTW sadly still in their Summer clothing and shivering when the central heating's not running full blast!)

Then after some photos they can be re-dressed in their fleeces, tights and Winter clothing to keep warm until the arrival of the Spring..

Your three little tots look beautifully cosy. Really cute photos, great background and use of the tripod, no less!

    1. That's a good idea you have there Kendal ! I could have Sasha dressing lunches , where I invite a friend or two to lunch and afterwards they could help me dress all the Sasha's, Gregor's and Babies!! My poor boys are still waiting to get into their 'Christmas' winter clothes!
A job I must try and do later today!!

  4. Aww the babies look so cute in their cosy outfits and sitting on the animals....that Polar Bear is to die for! I keep looking at the babies and wondering if I should get one.....it's the sleepless nights I worry about! It's bad enough with the Chihuahuas keep getting me up at night!
I must give it some thought though as they're so sweet and cuddly looking.......oh decisions, decisions. Perhaps I should spend my Christmas money on a baby.
I know, I know, I keep saying I'll get one and then change my mind....the day's not over yet, I'll probably have either 'caved' by tonight, or changed my mind against one again!!! :)
Happy New Year, big hugs to All!
And it's lovely to have you back Ronny!

    4. I never realised I looked so pregnant....must start the darn diet soon then!
No, I'd not give mine to the dog.....because then they'd all want one, and then it really would be a slippery slope with 5 dogs!!!!

  5. Your babies look so sweet - possible candidate for next year's Christmas card?
I love the Polar bear, he's a perfect size. He looks like one of those ride on animals for babies.
I'm glad too that Ronny's back, the banter between you is always entertaining.
    2014 has started well :)

Sorry was you try to get a WORD in???? :)

  7. Can't wait to show these photos to my daughter. She got a baby for Christmas and has been sewing, knitting, and loving her every minute since Christmas morning.
I quite agree that these would be excellent candidates for next year's Christmas cards.

  8. What lovely little babies they are - all dressed in clean, trendy Doodles clothing and not a dribble in sight. That poor reindeer looks as though he is in shock in the photo where baby is climbing on him but I'm sure all the snow-critters survived.
    Great pics,as always!
