IT'S STARTING TO GET STICKY!

Well after a trip to the local DIY store and the purchase of some plywood, mdf and some nice trim, we ( Paul) was ready to start fixing things to the house.

First up was fitting the top rail, pinning it  with added glue behind, then a cramp, leave an hour.

Then the decorative trim was added to the rail.

Paul also had to re-cramp the middle section which was bowing and add some glue so that will stay on overnight to help it stay in place.

So finally the side 'stones' have been glued in place, along with the window sills and tops.

I won this one, saying that the top trim looked more elegant this way than turned up the other way., so now they have been stuck in place.

So coming along, have decided a mansard roof is the way to go, which will give me another longer room or three smaller.

Slowly moving forward.
