  1. Welcome 'Dark Denims 'to Team T*R*E*N*D*O*N.
Judging by the last minute dash to get his photo to you before the stroke of midnight I'm thinking that he is definitly wanting to be a founding member.

I think Denise, that WE ALL remember those days of how to sneak in yet another doll to add to the ever-increasing fold. In the old days there was a few stories by some Sasha collectors as to how this was managed and I particularly remember this one as her husband was retired on ill health and so was always in the house.
Her new doll/s used to be sent to her sister's house nearby and which she would collect from there on a Friday on her way back from work and wrap to disguise it in a supermarket bag and leave it .in the boot of their only car..... knowing that the following day she and her husband .would be doing their big weekly supermarket shop.
On their arrival home from this her husband would always carry in all the bags and then have to go and sit down to rest whilst she put everything away in the cupboards, fridge, freezer etc.
I always have a little smile to myself when I think of this. as it reminds me oft he years when I used to collect the Cabbage Patch Kids and the problem was how to produce a new doll on Christmas Day to look as if I hadn't bought it.
As I was always the last to go up to bed and the first down to let the dog out and in I used to leave the doll in the hall cupboard on Christmas Eve and then when I unlocked and opened the front door first thing in the morning pretend to find it on the front door step as though Father Christmas had left it. My husband always presumed that one of my family had driven over and left it there in the early hours of Christmas Day. I've never enlightened him!

I'm very sad today as last night as I was just proofreading a checking a blog post (that had taken me over six hours to do )my laptop jumped and knocked me completely off my blog and I lost everything but the title.
My daughter who was arriving back from a birthday gifted holiday in Teneriff in the early hours of this morning said that she would see if she could locate it when she gets up this afternoon but she doesn't hold out much hope. Haven't the heart or time to try to repeat it today so sorry about that. Hopefully next Sunday.

    1. I remember those days of the ' surprise ' doll suddenly sitting with the others!! :)

Oh No! what a disaster! I know how long and hard it is for you to type every letter never mind word!!
I hope when Chon gets up, she can find it and restore it for you, unfortunately I am not a computer whizz so cannot ring and even offer a few idea's of where to look!!
Here's hoping Chon , will find it all safe and well and you can post without any more hard work!

    2. Oh, bless you Kendal. It is annoying for this to happen in the middle of a short email, but losing a whole long post ust be very depressing.

Doesn't it save somewhere? Blogger saves everything as a draft every few seconds so the only thng I lost when the power went and my battery was down, was the last sentence.

What ever happens, we will be there waiting for your next post and everybody will understand. Don't use up precious energy rushing to repeat it if Chon can't find it. The anticipation will make seeing your next post all the more exciting if we have to wait.

    3. Unfortunately even 'whizz tech' Chon couldn't locate the post. Obviously disappeared into thin air and lost forever! So starting again!

    2. No wonder the poor lad is cowering in a box. Was he the one you threw out into the cold without clothes, Queenie?

He's a sweet boy but does look a little nervous...
Glad he made it into this elite group in time.

    4. You're right Ronny he was from you :) we've been waiting on Brenda's return to take him over. I messed about too long on others you were selling and lost out, narrowly missing the baby boy as I bought him but he was gone by the time I hit the button, if I'd not messed for a few seconds he'd have been very happy here with me.
My mum was going to pull this boys hair out, but when he arrived the falling seems to have stopped so he is to remain a boy :)

    5. Glad he is yours now Louise...and how strange his hair has stopped falling...it must just be when he lived with me...don't say a word Dee...don't say a word ...:)

    6. As Denise isn't saying a word.....I will.
Seems that ONE would even risk the falling hair syndrome to get away from The Ice Queen's clutches!
