Today I received some little bolero's that I had bought from ebay to go with some of the dresses for spring.

The first one I bought to go with this dress by Sarah of Vintage Sasha , the colour goes well with the pink in
the flowers on the dress. That then made me bid on a few others knowing that I could use them with other outfits.

Here I have teamed a Rich dark blue with a lovely dress by Pinestreetstudios and sandals by RosieBloom.

Now here I have a rich deep fushia with a dress by Olive (Hagnolly) unfortunately the fushia shoes are too pink and not dark enough but what I really need with this dress is  a red pair of shoes and a red bolero but this will give Kirsty some warmth while I buy one in red.
These bolero's are made by my sister, so having an inside track I phoned and asked what other colours she was planning and placed my order. I really should knit my own but as others will tell you , you never have time to knit for yourself!

The thing I found when redressing the girls for the hopefully warmer weather was that I do not have enough socks! Yes It is true! despite having purchased socks of all colours shapes and lengths, I do not appear to have enough short socks in plain colours!! But hey that means I get to buy some!!!
There are still a few more girl's needing changing so I had best get buying...any excuse will do!!!

  1. It's never ending isn't it - if only we could afford to take as much care with OUR wardrobes as we do with theirs :)

  2. Always a lovely feeling when we start to dress the Sasha girls into their Summer dresses ready for the warmer months hopefully to come. These dolls look good in the cotton prints and fuller skirts though a wise move with the little boleros as it still gets quite chilly when you're out of the sunshine.
I think that most of us Sasha collectors prefer to spend the money on dressing our dolls rather than ourselves.
    Sasha love from Kendal.
