Well I do not know when I am supposed to do all the things I need to what with having to work this morning due to someone being unwell and then keep forgetting that I am going to Sussex tomorrow to help the youngest daughter move into her new house!.
Maybe if I stopped playing with these shop fronts I'd get more done???? lol
There were several comments about a toy shop, so I have dressed this shop with toys and given it a Christmas look, should I do these shops dressed for the Christmas Shopping season?
A closer look at the goodies.
Here's Agnetha carrying her Christmas tote ready to have a bit of retail therapy!!
Agnetha had popped inside for a closer look when Winter came along with her new Christmas tote.
Winter is wearing one of the red berets that I will be hoping to sell at the chat n snap. Agnetha's brown one will also be on sale.
These latest shots are taken with two white boards either side to try and make for a better wider shot.
Winter decides to check out the toys on display, trying to see what she can buy for her brothers and sisters.
There is a lot to chose from and a lot of family to buy for ,which is why she's starting early.
A final long shot of the shop balanced on the table edge due to the fact the other two are standing behind!
I think one of the shops will be dressed in this way but should I go with the Christmas theme?? you tell me! now for the other two!
Hi Ya! Did I beat K????????????????ReplyDelete
As John McEnro used to say 'I don't believe it!' I'd only just checked if there was another new post a little while ago before going oiff to sort out my evening meal and just look what happens.....a NEW post and SS-R commenting!Delete
Thank you K...I like to surprise you and keep you on your toes! I have been busy today and even started blogging again!Delete
My! My! Wonders never cease!Delete
Must go off and look then!
Yessssssssss!! As for Christmas...No Dee! No!! Treat Christmas like a virus...24 hours and it is all over...that's what I do :)ReplyDelete
I forgot to add how much I am loving the - very French- berets you are making! They look really good on and you have done a brilliant job you make your girls look very stylist and not like they are wearing a tea cozy on their heads :)Delete
Bah Humbug! Christmas is for Children and Sasha's so Christmas will be featuring on this blog in December...Joy to the world tra-lah-lah.. :)Delete
Thank you I am very pleased with the berets and am making them is a range of colours. It's all in the quality and positioning of the beret :)
.....'Christmas is for Children and Sasha's'.....and Kendal!Delete
I beg to differ to SS-R.ReplyDelete
I LOVE Christmas with the getting together of families often living far and wide, the annual remembering of old friendships and the exchanging of gifts and cards (especially the latter when they have the enclosed scribbled little news note inside).....(although I must admit that I am sometimes finding it a bit too much for me as I age.)
SO I should defintely keep this one dressed n the festive spirit as an example of how our real life shops are now beginning to look.
I think it looks nice and festive , so if I go with this one being Christmas design the others will need to follow suit being as they will be set in street form. Will have to do all three then try and find a dry day while it's still light to see what the otherall effect will be!Delete
Noticed the door knob at long last. Woke up in the middle of the night thinking that a kitchen cupboard handle would be a good idea then forgot to mention it this morning. BTW what have you used here?ReplyDelete
We bought them today in Homebase , the smallest cupboard ones we could find and thankfully they are perfect size !Delete
I love the Christmas toy shop and the Sashapotomus shop (not decorated for Christmas). The third shop doesn't have to be Christmassy.ReplyDelete
Thanks.I love the Sashapotmus shop , looks so bright and cheerful but all the clothes are to be sold and although I do own a few T-shirts , they would probably not make as good a display but it may still happen! but what to try out a few other idea's first :)Delete
don't give them all away on the blog - tease us with ideas then surprise us on the day! Only a week to go now and the excitement here is mounting amongst our Sasha family who all get to see your shop windows. I hope to finish the garden games sets tomorrow, been working on them today in between a host of other family activities.ReplyDelete
Never fear I only showed todays because people had mentioned Toy shop and also Christmas. I have another couple of Idea's that will not be seen until the big day! :)Delete
Sounds like me, you are cutting it fine with your sale items :) I look forward to seeing what you have on offer, after all Christmas is coming and sasha's and Gregor's need to have something under the tree !
This is really getting exciting, I am so looking forward to seeing these shops. As you know I love shopping!ReplyDelete
It is getting exciting but also the days are rapidly passing and still a few finishing touches to do!Delete
Look forward to you and your sasha's shopping on the Village street and giving their opinion on it's standard against that of Brighton & Hove..the towns not your boys :)
Although, like Ronny, I'm not a great fan of Christmas, I have to say that the toy shop looks perfect! All festive and inviting! I'm sure they're will be lots of Sasha and Gregor noses pressed firmly up against the window come next weekend! I love Winter's new tote bag, how cute is that! I hope she's brought her credit card along with her because there will be lots to buy!ReplyDelete
I'm also glad to hear that Ronny will be attending.....Ronny, I'll send you my shopping list!!!!
Thanks Sharon, glad you like the toyshop's Christmas look.Delete
I hope Winter does not ahve a credit card! as I'm sure it will be me that gets the bill!! :)
I'm sure Ronny will be happy spend your dollie pounds :)
:) I have a black belt in shopping Sharon! Just send Coop's little girlfriend Kara as payment :)ReplyDelete
Well you do have a DAN!!! I have heard that a big Cheer from all the shopkeepers goes up when a certain Mini cooper is seen entering Brighton!!! :)Delete
:) :) Very clever Dee!!!! Oh Yes! I am sure the Brighton and Hove districts are very pleased to have me visit each week, especially now I have discovered the cupcake shop Cloud 9...have been known to spend an indecent amount on cupcakes each week :) A moment on the lips...forever on the hips :)Delete
:) :) Mmm Cupcakes, you can bring me one on Saturday with these hips, you'd never see it!! :)Delete
