TOYING AROUND.....

Well I do not know when I am supposed to do all the things I need to what with having to work this morning due to someone being unwell and then keep forgetting that I am going to Sussex tomorrow to help the youngest daughter move into her new house!.

Maybe if I stopped playing with these shop fronts I'd get more done????  lol

There were several comments about a toy shop, so I have dressed this shop with toys and given it a Christmas look, should I do these shops dressed for the Christmas Shopping season?

A closer look at the goodies.

Here's Agnetha carrying her Christmas tote ready to have a bit of retail therapy!!

Agnetha had popped inside for a closer look when Winter came along with her new Christmas tote.

Winter is wearing one of the red berets that I will be hoping to sell at the chat n snap. Agnetha's brown one will also be on sale.

These latest shots are taken with two white boards either side to try and make for a better wider shot.

Winter decides to check out the toys on display, trying to see what she can buy for her brothers and sisters.

There is a lot to chose from and a lot of family to buy for ,which is why she's starting early.

A final long shot of the shop balanced on the table edge due to the fact the other two are standing behind!
I think one of the shops will be dressed in this way but should I go with the Christmas theme?? you tell me! now for the other two!

    1. I forgot to add how much I am loving the - very French- berets you are making! They look really good on and you have done a brilliant job you make your girls look very stylist and not like they are wearing a tea cozy on their heads :)

  3. I beg to differ to SS-R.
I LOVE Christmas with the getting together of families often living far and wide, the annual remembering of old friendships and the exchanging of gifts and cards (especially the latter when they have the enclosed scribbled little news note inside).....(although I must admit that I am sometimes finding it a bit too much for me as I age.)
SO I should defintely keep this one dressed n the festive spirit as an example of how our real life shops are now beginning to look.

    1. I think it looks nice and festive , so if I go with this one being Christmas design the others will need to follow suit being as they will be set in street form. Will have to do all three then try and find a dry day while it's still light to see what the otherall effect will be!

  4. Noticed the door knob at long last. Woke up in the middle of the night thinking that a kitchen cupboard handle would be a good idea then forgot to mention it this morning. BTW what have you used here?

  5. I love the Christmas toy shop and the Sashapotomus shop (not decorated for Christmas). The third shop doesn't have to be Christmassy.

    1. Thanks.I love the Sashapotmus shop , looks so bright and cheerful but all the clothes are to be sold and although I do own a few T-shirts , they would probably not make as good a display but it may still happen! but what to try out a few other idea's first :)

  6. don't give them all away on the blog - tease us with ideas then surprise us on the day! Only a week to go now and the excitement here is mounting amongst our Sasha family who all get to see your shop windows. I hope to finish the garden games sets tomorrow, been working on them today in between a host of other family activities.
