MILO 02/07 2000 TO 02/02/2021

Sadly this morning we had to say goodbye to our beautiful 20 year old cat Milo.

He had been unwell since the beginning of the year and we were surprised he lasted until this month.

He was the most loving of cats and loved a good cuddle and to be near people. When we bought our two westies ,Hamish and Izzie , he took one look and when out returning sometime later with a live blackbird which he dropped into the house , with a look of see I've brought food for them!

We spent the next ten minutes trying to catch the bird which was now in the living room!

He especially liked assisting you when working, this is him last year when I was trying to work from home, helping by sitting on my note paper right in front of my ipad.

He would always come to see any visitors and expect to be stroked and given his attention, because they had of course come to visit him!

So although we are sad , we know it was his time and he is now buried in the garden near his sister who passed away last year and not far from the westies who he was nearly as big as.

  1. Oh that is sad! I feel with you, I know ow it feels to loose a beloved pet. I also had 4 cats from which 2 are gone and the other two are very old now. 20 years - and nearly 21! - is a wonderful methusalic age for a cat and you are very happy to have shared so much time with him. He also was happy, as Linda says: it's obvious he had a wonderful life with you.

    1. Thank you H. He was a beautiful cat, well loved and loved us, he was the type of cat who would push his face into yours and liked to sleep on your pillow.
Although we are sad, we know he had a good life and it was his time to go

  2. I'm not a cat person, but he looks a nice fellow. So sad to let a pet go. It's good you found a place for him in the garden.
